Cake Smash Portraits
Cake smash sessions typically take place in our luxurious studio! The creative fee includes a custom cake, choice of two sets (one for milestone poses and one for cake smash!), bathtub poses, and all cleanup! We will guide you every step of the way. We have done over 100 cake smashes and we know all the tips and tricks to getting your almost-toddler to sit, stay, smash, and smile! All you'll need to do is choose a theme!
Tori did an amazing job with my daughter’s first birthday pictures and my son’s 3 year old pictures. She asked what my theme was for my daughter’s birthday and when we got to her studio she had the most adorable cake and banner that nailed my vision of my daughter’s first birthday. Q: What do we need to bring? A: We will have a styling consultation where we will discuss all the details! You may want to bring some themed items, or I may have it covered, depending on your theme! I have a full prop and client closet for MOST things. If you want balloons, you will need to bring those. You should also bring a change of clothes for yourself in case you get messy from the day!
Q: Can we do bathtub poses? What about siblings? A: Add-ons are always included with your session fee! We just need to know in advance!
Q: What safety measures do you take? A: We are licensed and insured and we sanitize our studio after every client. We are also fully vaccinated, including Covid. We can also wear a mask upon request! We will also send a questionnaire after booking where you can disclose any allergy information to us. Our baker can modify your cake's ingredients if your baby has allergies.
Q: Â How much does it cost? A: The creative fee is divided into two payments of $170. This includes everything you'll need for the session - our exclusive client closet, the custom cake, two sets of your choosing, props, styling support, all clean-up and of course our time and talent dedicated to making your session spectacular! Â Products, images, and prints are sold separately at your ordering appointment, approximately 3-7 days later. Collections start at $890, with ala carte items also available.
Q: Â What does the ordering appointment entail? A: Â This is where you will view your images for the first time in a stunning slideshow, and will be able to order your images and products. Â You can come to the studio for this, we can come to your home, or we can buy you a coffee at your favorite cafe! Â We have samples of every product we sell, and we also offer payment plans! Â Once your order is paid in full, we retouch your chosen images and order the products for you. Â Digital images take approximately 1-2 weeks for retouching and products take 1-4 weeks to arrive from the lab.
Q: Can I share my images with family and friends? A: Absolutely! Â We will send you all the soft proofed images from your session in an online gallery that you can send to family and friends! Â If they also place an order, you'll receive an additional credit that you can use towards future products!
Q: What themes can we choose from? A: Really, it is limitless! If we don't have something to match what you are going for, we can absolutely *try* to get things in before your session! You are also welcome to bring party decorations! Your cake will be custom decorated by our favorite bakery. She is super talented and can do nearly any theme!
